Rules

By joining and remaining on the server, every player agrees to follow these rules. All members are expected to behave respectfully, responsibly and fairly.

Moderator Discretion

These rules cannot cover every possible situation. Moderators may take action against behavior that harms the server, its community or fair play, even if that behavior is not explicitly listed.

Enforcement and punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis, considering the severity of the violation, intent, previous violations, cooperation with staff and the harm caused.

Staff are expected to exercise this discretion fairly, consistently and proportionately.

If you are unsure whether something is allowed, contact a member of staff for clarification before proceeding.

Players are encouraged to ask before extensively using unusual mechanics, modifications or methods that could reasonably be considered exploits, bypasses or unfair advantages.

Punishment System

Punishments follow a progressive sanction scale and may vary depending on the severity of the violation, the player's intentions, previous violations, cooperation with staff and the damage caused to the server or community.

The general punishment scale is:

Verbal Warning → Official Warning → Mute / Kick → Temporary Ban → Permanent Ban

Staff members are not required to apply punishments in progressive order. Serious, intentional, repeated or harmful violations may result in a stronger punishment immediately.

Additional measures such as item removal, inventory rollback, progress reset, exclusion from events or removal of illegally obtained advantages may be applied when appropriate.

The punishment ranges listed below indicate the minimum and maximum punishment normally applicable. The final punishment is determined by staff based on the circumstances of each case.

Game Mechanics and Server Rulings

Vanilla Mechanics

Normal vanilla Minecraft mechanics are generally allowed unless specifically prohibited by these rules or by a current staff ruling.

A mechanic being possible in vanilla Minecraft does not automatically mean that every use of it is permitted. Staff may restrict a mechanic if its use involves an exploit, bypasses an established rule or protection, causes significant server problems, or provides an advantage through unintended behavior.

When there is reasonable doubt about a mechanic, players should ask staff before using it extensively.

Bugs and Exploits

A bug is unintended behavior or an error in Minecraft, a server plugin, a modification or another part of the server.

An exploit is the intentional use of unintended behavior to obtain an advantage, bypass a restriction, interfere with another player, manipulate the server or otherwise achieve something that the game or server was not reasonably intended to permit.

Not every bug is automatically prohibited. Staff may determine that a particular bug or unusual mechanic is harmless and allowed. Other bugs may be restricted or prohibited.

Once staff have explicitly identified a mechanic or exploit as prohibited, continuing to use it is a violation regardless of whether the player personally agrees with the decision.

Staff Rulings

When staff determine that a specific mechanic, behavior or situation is permitted or prohibited, that ruling applies to substantially similar situations unless staff later change the ruling.

Players may not repeatedly ask different staff members in an attempt to obtain a more favorable answer after a ruling has already been made. This does not prevent players from using the designated appeal process.

If conflicting answers are given, the ruling of senior staff or management takes precedence.

Previous Incidents

The fact that another player previously performed an action without being punished does not establish that the action is permitted.

Staff decisions may depend on the circumstances of the situation, available evidence, the player's history, the scale of the violation or whether staff were aware of the behavior (refer to the next section for more details).

Players should not rely on another player's actions or lack of punishment as permission to perform the same action.

Punishment Guidelines

Punishments are evaluated case by case.

Staff should consider:

• the seriousness of the violation;
• whether the action was accidental or intentional;
• the player's previous punishment history;
• whether the violation was repeated;
• the player's cooperation during the investigation;
• the advantage obtained through the violation;
• the damage caused to players, the economy or the server;
• attempts to hide or destroy evidence;
• attempts to evade punishment.

Again, a player does not automatically receive the minimum punishment listed in the table.

Likewise, staff members are not required to issue every punishment in order before applying a more serious sanction.

For example, an intentional and large-scale cheating offense may result directly in a Permanent Ban, even if the player has no previous punishments.

Intent may affect the severity of a punishment but does not necessarily determine whether a rule was violated.

Accidental violations may receive reduced or corrective action when appropriate. Deliberate, repeated or concealed violations may receive substantially stronger punishment.

Additional In-Game Measures

When applicable, staff may combine a punishment with one or more of the following measures:

• confiscation of illegally obtained items;
• removal of currency or resources;
• inventory rollback;
• balance rollback;
• progress rollback;
• removal from rankings or leaderboards;
• removal of event rewards;
• temporary or permanent exclusion from events;
• removal of claims, builds or structures created through exploits;
• restoration of damage caused to other players;
• removal of advantages obtained through alternative accounts.

These measures are considered corrective actions and may be applied in addition to mutes, kicks, temporary bans or permanent bans.

Administrative Rules

The following sections do not have a predefined punishment range because they establish how the rules themselves are managed and interpreted.
